Senaste bokinköp (som inte är en del av bokrean). Beställde från Bokus några dagar innan rean började. Alla dessa böcker är direkt fortsättningar på de tv-serier de är baserade på och i fallet Buffy är de så officiella de kan bli eftersom den är skriven av Joss Whedon himself(!), detsamma kan mer eller minder sägas om The 4400 också. Star Trek är ju Star Trek, men för mig är även denna forsättning kanon, denna bok är dock till skillnad från de andra inte den första boken i serien, utan Enterprise är redan inne på sin tredje bok (och äntligen startar The Romulan War(!), det man såg fram emot hela Enterprise, men aldrig fick se...)

 

1. Buffy The Vampire Slayer Season Eight #1 - "The Long Way Home"

2. Star Trek Enterprise - The Romulan War: Beneath The Raptor's Wing

At the start of the twenty-first century, unconditional war swept across the Earth. A war that engulfed the great and the small, the rich and the poor, giving no quarter. Each side strove for unconditional victory, and as battle built upon battle, the living began to envy the dead.

Chastised by the cataclysm that they had unleashed, the governments of Earth came together. Humanity vowed to put an end to war and to strive for the betterment of every living creature. 3. The 4400 - Welcome to Promise City

The 4400 were only the beginning.

4. The 4400 - Promises Broken

Promicin -- which kills half of those who dare to inject it and grants paranormal abilities to those who survive -- is spreading across the globe and threatening to plunge the entire world into chaos.

One year has passed since Jordan Collier and his followers seized control of Seattle and renamed it Promise City. U.S. armed forces have surrounded Seattle, and each day brings Collier and his Promicin-Positive Movement closer to all-out war with the world's greatest military superpower.

However, the real threats are the Marked -- agents from the future whose identities are encoded into body-hijacking nanites. They were sent back to thwart the efforts of the 4400. 2005: Tom Baldwin and Diana Skouris are investigating Jordan Collier's murder, but they're pulled off the case. Washington believes the Wraith -- a onetime freelance agent for the U.S. government -- is active again. A high-ranking CIA officer, who oversaw the rogue operator's activities, is killed. Evidence at the scene points to the Wraith and that this highly efficient killer is now a 4400. The NTAC agents only have thirteen-year-old leads to follow an assassin who was never caught. Suddenly, the Wraith kills another returnee. Why? What does this mean? Can the mounting fears of the 4400 be right? Or is this just one returnee who has gone off the track. Baldwin and Skouris need to know -- but will they find out before the Wraith completes this deadly covert objective?
